Seksitutkimus kertoo, että seksin määrän ja varallisuuden välillä ei ole yhteyttä.
MORE money does not lead to more sex, economic researchers concluded in a study released by a major US economic institute.

"The paper finds that sexual activity enters strongly positively in happiness equations," the economists wrote.

"Greater income does not buy more sex, nor more sexual partners. The typical American has sexual intercourse two to three times a month." The report found "no statistically significant correlation" between levels of income and sexual activity.

The report concluded that married people have more sex than those who are single, divorced, widowed or separated, and that the "happiness-maximising" number of sexual partners is one.

Rahan ja seksin määrän korreloimattomuus kuulostaa hiukan yllättävältä. Olisi mukava kuulla tarkemmin, miten seksifrekvenssi vaihteli erilaisten ryhmittymien välillä. Onko köyhien viiskymppisten miesten seksiaktiivisuus yhtä suurta kuin varakkaiden viiskymppisten miesten?

Hallitus järjestää Britanniassa naisille henkilökohtaista neuvontaa ja lakiapua työelämässä.
Female employees will be allocated a personal adviser and offered legal advice by the Government under a proposed national mentoring scheme to help them to deal with problems such as maternity leave disputes and sexism at work.

The scheme is part of a drive to win back the female vote, which Labour strategists believe could be lost at the next election.

The policy is expected to infuriate some men's groups, who will accuse Labour of singling out women for extra support.
Toronto Star lehti on haastettu oikeuteen viharikoksesta:
The Canadian Children's Rights Council has filed a hate crime complaint with the Toronto Police against the Toronto Star newspaper, the clothing distributor and retailers selling clothing which have printed misandric child hate messages.

The Toronto Star carried a special section in its Saturday, March 6th, 2004 edition titled "Shopping" "Feminist fashionistas". A major article on page L3 with the headline "Funky femorabilia" followed by "Products with girl power messages have a point to make" taking up 2/3rds of the page contained large pictures of a clothing line from the United States that states" BOYS ARE STUPID, THROW ROCKS AT THEM!". The same clothing manufacturer also supplies other misandric and child hate slogans. The Toronto Star article also carried a large picture with a bottle of "TOTAL BITCH " bubble bath.

The Toronto Star has led the way amongst Canadian newspapers when it comes to social issues such as poverty and equality rights. Until recently, they had a nationally known feminist columnist. They have never had a masculinist columnist.
